About 18 years ago when I first started in business, I had a lot of trouble finding an accounting package that was accessible. I got my accountant to look for something for me. We tried some products, but they were very difficult to use and the companies would not play ball. In the year 2000 the accountant found CashManager and I had a look at the trial product, it was an instant success. I didn't have any problems compared to what I had before. Therefore I purchased CashManager and decided not to update to any newer versions. I called Accomplish to rejoin support in November 2009 and was advised that there had been some enhancements made to help users of screen readers. When I updated, I was very, very impressed with what had been done, and pleased with the company’s commitment to my marketplace. Accomplish have now given me 100% independence in my business and personal life. I wish to thank Accomplish for taking the time to do what they have done.

I've been very happy with CashManager especially when I need to file monthly reports for my organization. It brings it together for me and I don't need to go looking at all of the transactions. CashManager puts it all in a nice and neat report and I just take what I need from it. It's a great program! Some people worked around the problems by using a small part of a program - -and when a well known program aimed at the home and small business market updated, several blind users had to quit using it or stay with the old version because the ability to down-load bank information had been eliminated. I have put out e-mails on several lists and got back sad responses- - we want one too, let us know if you find one I tried the simple programs, the shareware and freeware, and the expensive ones. The screen reader program people told us that the accounting program people wouldn't share their inner workings and that was just too bad, get out of our way. The attitude was that you, the blind, don't have any business in the accounting world anyway - - even if you could see, you are not smart enough (because you are blind) to understand. So this year a couple of people mentioned CashManager- a program put out by a New Zealand company that was accessible. Being from New Zealand didn't bother me- - my embossers are made in Sweden, several programs are foreign and even the braille character recognition program comes from Poland. So I looked into it-- and found that I really didn't know anything. What is a cash book? and -- why? SO I discussed it and read the reports from the blind organization in New Zealand and some more and finally sent off for the evaluation copy. Its’ a long way from NZ to Missouri and it took a while- - but the disk came and in it went. It works! I played with it and it was fun. There are some interesting symbols. - The eclipses, which is a series of three periods is used a lot and I hadn't ever run into that! I found that sighted assistance made things go faster. The magic thing that I loved? I made everything - everything!! talk right out of the box, no exceptions at all. For a while I thought I was not going to be able to read the daily tip but I found the key! So- - everything talks - - right out of the box!!! I am delighted. Maybe I can take over my business and do it all myself. I won't need sighted help. Sure I have to use all the features of WinEyes but so what- - that’s what they are there for. During the evaluation I had some questions that studying the books didn't answer. In one case, I posted a question to the GW Micro list. The problem was that the eclipse wasn’t detected by the cursor - and I wondered what I was doing wrong with WinEyes. The mouse cursor walked right over them and didn't say a word. Well, the CashManager people saw that post and answered me directly - -and I call that outstanding care and support, answering a question I hadn't asked. As things go on, I found that the forms for invoice, checks and statements that came with CashManager don't do what I need to do so- - guess what- - they are (for a very nominal fee) developing custom forms for me. I have never heard of any software company doing that - usually it’s at best here's how to work around that. I haven't got it up and running and using. It will take some time to transfer everything from my old program to CashManager and I still have to keep working. And I will be using sighted help for this purely because the old program got so screwed up, and because it will go faster. But I know that this is the way to go - - and I will be able to properly present all my accounting to the tax people- - and save some money! There aren't enough words to express my appreciation of Accomplish (the company) and their program (CashManager) and most particularly the staff- - always helpful and prompt with the answers. Since using Cash Manager over the past few years I have discovered for my clients an easy, user friendly system that meets all of their reporting requirements. I have found especially handy the option to search by name, date, and amount a great tool within the system and have noted similar systems do not have that available. I have no hesitation recommending CashManager as a product of choice to any of my clients, and have trained novices easily to a level they understand and have had feed back at how great a product it is to use. CashManager is simple and easy to use but don’t be fooled – it is a full featured system with some really great features such as its GST return preparation functionality (one of the best I have personally come across), bank transaction import and auto memorisation that makes bank statement reconciliation a breeze and a comprehensive suite of reports. A nice feature is the dashboard, where you can see at a glance the state of your bank balance, profitability for month and year to date, and ageing of debtors and creditors. I like the ability to e-mail your CashManager file to your accountant from within the program itself – as an accountant this enables me to get on with preparing my client’s accounts and tax returns quickly by generating reports on receipt of the file and also enables me to review transactions in the system when necessary rather than having to wait for a client to answer a query. I am happy to give clients a range of software package alternatives but I prefer to use and recommend CashManager. Paul Martin
To Whom It May Concern. In all the years we have been using Cash Manger we have not had to have to call on your support at all. Your system is so incredibly user friendly and easy to use, problems pretty much never occur. Today however whilst rolling over the end of financial year disaster struck and a whole years data was lost. The team were able to access our system remotely, and then talk to our computer support company to restore Cash Manager from back up and recover all the lost data. They then went on to upgrade our Cash Manager Programme. Your support was not only fast and efficient (the problem was resolved in less than an hour) but friendly and incredibly patient. I was put onto Supriya (Support staff) to talk me through the process. We had a time delay on the phone, something of a rarity in these days of optical fibres. However, this plus the fact that our server and my computer are on different floors, made for a prolonged effort. Supriya was patient and understanding for the entire time. After about 30 mins, I couldn't log onto the website, so she emailed me the file, which was installed and it is working perfectly. So I've avoided updating CashManager for the last few years, in case I stuff up my existing package which works fine for my business needs. However, after hearing about your new 2009 software, I decided it was time I bit the bullet and updated to the latest program. I have been an advocate for CashManager since 1995, and have had many clients buy the software. It is software that produces a result, and which enables the client to get a good picture of their business. Can I also make a comment that my clients get into all sorts of difficulties with other software providers when trying to correct an error as none of these are as user friendly as Accomplish CashManager. And in regards to support, it makes no difference to the Accomplish support team whether I run it on a Windows PC or my iMac - it is just not relevant. The client accounts are kept constantly up to date and at the end on each month I must certify to the NZ Law Society that the accounts are reconciled against the trust account bank statements. I can do this on my own easily. The system contains all the information necessary to satisfy audit requirements. I have a full support contract with you, for advice when it is needed and you are there for me every time. A splendid service. Thanks again. I just have to write and say thanks for CashManager. I'd like to compliment your company on your CashManager product, and in particular your helpdesk. I purchased my business coming up 2 years ago, and have progressed from the Standard CashManager, to adding the Invoicing module, and now to the CashManager Plus. My business turns over approximately $40 million per annum, and at frist I was hesitant that such a simple program to use would satisfy my needs. I have to say that everything I have thrown at it, CashManager handles with ease, and in an extremely functional way. The only issue I have had, have been of my own making and have been easily fixed. This brings me on to your helpdesk and team that I have called upon regularly. This is in no way a reflection of the product that I call frequently, rather that the range of features available that I try to incorporate into my business accounts. Every time I have had occasion to call the helpdesk, I have had exemplary service from your staff. Even during busy times such as the end of financial year, I always receive a call back on support issues in a reasonable timeframe. There have been times where I have been unreachable, yet your team still keep trying to contact me. Each time, there has been someone knowledgeable and helpful, and who normally can advise me how to fix my problem straight away. Even if they need to see the file, the CashManager program makes it simple to email it direct to your support desk.
